Community partnerships

A recurring revenue stream for your organisation.

When a supporter chooses Beyond Broadband and nominates your organisation, 5% of what they spend comes back to you — every month, for the life of the service. Nothing extra for them to pay, nothing for you to run.

Someone always stays back to lock up.

Every club, school and community group in Queensland runs on people doing it for nothing — the ones who chase the sponsors, count the float, drive the trailer and answer the phone on a Sunday. Effort is rarely what is in short supply. Funding that turns up reliably is.

What your organisation receives

Recurring revenue. Not another fundraiser.

Every service nominated to your organisation generates 5% of that customer's total spend for you, and it keeps generating it for as long as the service stays connected.

A raffle, a sausage sizzle or a sponsorship round raises money once and then has to be done again. This does not. Once a supporter is connected and has nominated your organisation, the contribution keeps coming without anyone on your committee lifting a finger.

It also costs your supporters nothing extra. They pay the price on the plan, the same as they would anywhere else. The 5% comes out of our end, not theirs.

Why partner with Beyond Broadband?

Six reasons this is worth a committee meeting.

Your supporters are already paying for internet and mobile somewhere. This is a way for a slice of that money to come back to you instead.

It recurs, every month

The contribution is generated each time a nominated service is billed, and it continues for the life of that service. There is no campaign to re-run next year and no end date to diarise.

Your supporters pay nothing extra

They pay the price on the plan. There is no donation to add on, no premium tier to pick and no minimum spend — just a provider they were going to pay anyway.

It costs your organisation nothing

No joining fee, no stock to shift, no roster to fill and no volunteer hours on a weekend. Registering your interest is close to the whole job.

It grows as your community does

Every supporter who connects and nominates you adds to the total. Mobile services count as well as internet, so a single household can contribute through more than one service.

Yours to spend as you see fit

Put the contributions towards whatever your organisation actually needs — gear, fees, facilities, programmes, the shortfall nobody wants to talk about. What the money does is your decision, not ours.

A Queensland-owned partner

You will be dealing with people in this state who answer the phone, not a national brand running a community campaign for one quarter and moving on.

We cannot promise your organisation an amount. What you receive depends on how many of your supporters choose Beyond Broadband and what they spend, and the arrangements are confirmed with you before anything starts.

What it adds up to

Put your own numbers in.

Set a typical monthly bill, then how many services your supporters might connect. Mobiles count alongside internet, so a family that moves everything across can be worth several services on its own.

Anything from $25 to $300 a month. Type a figure or drag the slider.

Services, not households — internet plus two mobiles counts as three.

Per service, each month $4.95
Per service, over a year $59.40

Illustrative only — 5% of total customer spend over twelve months. Not a forecast, a target or a guarantee of what your organisation will receive.

How partnerships work

Four steps. Nothing complicated.

  1. Register your interest

Tell us about your organisation using the form below. It takes a minute and commits you to nothing.

  2. Become a community partner

Our team talks the partnership and onboarding through with you, and confirms the arrangements in writing before anything begins.

  3. Share with your supporters

Encourage your community to choose Beyond Broadband and nominate your organisation when they sign up.

  4. Receive contributions, month after month

Your organisation receives 5% of the total spend on every service nominated to it, for the life of that service, on the arrangements confirmed with you.

Who can partner?

If your community counts on you, we would like to hear from you.

The programme is built for the organisations that hold a place together, whatever shape they take.

Sporting clubs

Junior and senior clubs, from a single team to a whole association.

Schools and P&Cs

School communities and the parents and citizens groups working alongside them.

Charities

Registered charities doing work that does not pay for itself.

Community groups

Local groups, associations and volunteer organisations of all sizes.

Not-for-profit organisations

Not-for-profits serving a Queensland community, however they are structured.

This is not an automatic approval. We talk to every organisation before a partnership begins, so tell us about yours and we will take it from there.

Partnership enquiry

Tell us about your organisation

A few details is all we need to start the conversation. A person reads these, not a queue somewhere else.

The suburb or town your organisation is based in.

What you do, who you do it for, and roughly how many people are involved. A few sentences is plenty.

Submitting this does not commit your organisation to anything. We will come back to you to talk it through.
